A Danty Jeep Ride

Today we decided to kick the summer off (since it was in the 80's) by going on a jeep ride. Nate and Joelle came with us, and it was not quite what we had expected. Getting down the trail was one thing, but getting back up to get out was another. We got stuck quite a few times and all of us were not only covered in mud, but had mud in every nook and cranny our bodies have. Shane saved the day by plowing full speed ahead thorugh a muddy spot so we could get out. We had a blast, but were way too tired at the end of the day. The jeep was dirty inside and out!

Crepitation

Our entertainment at our house since February has been ourselves. We're avid rockers. We even have our own band Crepitation ( the sound bones make after they're broke and they rub together) Whenever we have friends over we pretty much love to rock with them! We play drums, guitar, bass and sing!

Happy Happy Birthday Casey Dear...

My brother Casey is up here in Rexburg at school so it's fun to have fmaily close by. For his 21st birthday we had him and his friends over for a little BBQ and cake. It was lots of fun!

Area 51

My Grandfather worked on a few different Government sites and my Grandma has an authentic Area 51 sign on her shed from back in the day! Shane loved it.

Over the Cactus and Through the Desert to Grandmother's House We Go!

During our week break between Winter and Summer semesters, we went to Arizonia for Nouveau Riche Investment school, and while we were down there we got to visit my Grandma Betty in Surprise! It was so much fun. SHane taught her how to play Texas Holdem and she got me addicted to Duces Wild! It was so much fun for us to just spend time with her. We can't wait till the next time we get to go to Arizonia!

Cinco De Mayo from You know Where.....

Well, this cinco de mayo turned out to be a little more exciting and interesting then we thought it would be. I thought it was going to be just a regular Monday, but Shane had other plans. After I got out of school, I checked my cell phone to see if I had missed any calls. Well I had missed seven in fact all from Shane. I called him back and all he said was um are you at home or can you come to the Urgent Care. Of course I was a little freaked out. He said something about cutting his foot open, so I jumped in the Jeep and off I went.

I passed the front desk and mentioned something about my husband cutting his foot open and the receptionist with a soft "oh ya okay" showed me where he was. Well, as I walked through the door, there's Shane laying on the table getting all sewed up. Must I mention his foot was very very bloody. As I asked how it happened, he began to tell me about how he tripped over a glass bowl in the hall and split his ankle open. Luckily his friend Brodie was outside and heard Shane calling out for him. So our bathroom ended up looking like a movie clip from Psycho. Shane ended up having to have 10 stitches in his left foot. What a trooper. (Sorry the picture looks so morbid!)
